the flash days are long gone (it's been 6 years?! i thought it was months ago,still not a long time ago) but i felt the need to talk about em...
long ago,before flash died,it was known as the hub for gaming by yourself (kind of like an arcade game but digital) or with a friend,people made tons of amazing flash games,movies but i definitely miss that era of going on the internet,picking a game,and playing for hours until u go to bed,ik flashpoint and other players still exist,but its kind of not the same anymore,maybe im just 2 nostalgic,biased,whatever but clicking on the player definitely kicked ass and it felt like u were opening a different world,one click,and u were kicking ass already in a game (again im not saying these players keeping the flash games are bad,its good just not the same magic 2 me,but hey,ill prefer em over than not having anything at all,its all good),ill admit some games were short,but they sometimes were worth most of the time since from my perspective,there was nothing else 4 me 2 do rather than going outside alone,it was something else for me imo,spending time on flash games took my time that i "wasted",but hey,it was like playing with a action figure toy or a matchbox car 2 me rather than having nothing being in ur own room,now when flash died around 2020,i already moved on before it's death,playing these multiplayer match-making games,that one multiplayer blocky game (which tbf,sucks nowdays and has for years) and steam,but like many people i thought it was the end of an era,times change,to say the least,i was sad about it like these people,but hey..whatever,it's all cool,flashpoint and other flash players still keep that spirit and the games alive and archived,so all is good until something happens with the players having to be taken down (unlikely,but it would be sad)
Now i just gotta say,the Flash era of games will always be unmatched and will always be in my heart,like most people who grew up during the era,i honestly don't know how it got to anyone's head to be like "Meh,we'll kill Flash" because of the era that we were approaching and evolving with the smartphones rising,but around that time,not everybody had a good PC and ,espicially if u were from the underdeveloped countries,post-USSR,or just the post-Eastern Bloc in general,but glad Flash didn't die out so fast around the 2010s,because if it did happen,i don't think Flash would be as memorable (or it would,idk),I know things can't stay the same,but i do wonder "why?" even if time has passed a bit
and if you reached it this far,thx for reading my rant (which arent that agressive as my qna,lol) i just wanted 2 let things out and kind of bitch about how i miss flash
